Will the decals be OK on my gas tank and engine?
The decals are of automotive grade and are designed to withstand the environment, in which they will live. All decals come with a clear high gloss laminate for protection from fuel/oil spills, UV rays and dirt which greatly increases durability!
Can I clear coat over the decals?
Yes you can but it is not necessary. You must be very careful with clear-coating as certain types of clear coat such as "lacquer-based" types have been known to react with the decals in a negative way. You must do your own research and use your best judgment. If you decide to clear coat over your decals this may be helpful.

Is there a warranty?
We do not warranty the decals. However if your decals have arrived damaged please send us an email within 48 hours from delivery confirmation. In this email include a copy of you receipt and an explanation of the damage. You must then mail back the damaged item and a replacement will be sent.

Whats the best way to care for my decals?
Decals may be cleaned with just plain water or car wash soap. Always use a non-abrasive cloth to avoid scratching the decals laminate. When cleaning the decals always carefully wipe from the center outwards.
Even though our decals come laminated, avoid spilling gas/oil mixture on them as much as possible to provide the best care.
Other than cleaning when desired there is no maintenance, enjoy!
Whats the best way to remove the old sticker and stamp? If the sticker that came on the motor is not already an oily mess, is peeling or falling off then its a matter of time. You can remove the sticker anyway you choose.
For sticker removal we choose to use simple WD-40 and a razor blade. Saturate the sticker with WD-40 and let stand for 3-5 minutes. From our experience this is the most safe and easiest method of removal. Then use a simple razor blade and start at an edge and carefully scrape away the sticker, take your time! When finished there may be some residual glue there so continue spraying the WD-40 on and try wiping away. The razor blade may be needed to help remove the last of the glue.Be careful not to get any WD-40 or any other fluid under the magneto cover!.
For removal of the stamp, simply take the "clutch arm cover" off by removing the 3 screws and tapping out the rivets from behind with a nail. This is very easy as the rivets come right out. Then replace the "clutch cover arm" then you are ready for the next step.See Instructional video below!

What about scratches from removal?
If you scratch the motors paint during removal of the sticker and stamp, not to worry the decal will fully cover the footprint of the sticker and stamp you are removing. The decals will have a completely opaque background which will hide all scratches and blemishes beneath it while adding a new an amazing new look to your motorized bike!
What’s the best way to prep my gas tank and motor?
There is a very simple and short video tutorial on the decals page that gives you a guide. Properly preparing your gas tank and motor for the decals is crucial for the durability and adhesion of the decals.
After removing all current stickers and stamps we recommend you use a clean cloth and wipe the surfaces of the engine and gas tank with denatured alcohol thoroughly and let dry. Try not to touch the surfaces after wiping with alcohol. Then you are ready to install your decals. Be careful not to get the alcohol under the magneto cover.
What’s the best way to apply my decals?
If the motor is already on the bike then probably the easiest and safest way to clean and apply your decals is by removing the 3 faces of the motor. All that's needed is a simple screwdriver. Once removed you can sit at a table and take you time installing your decals.
There are several different methods of installing decals which can easily be found on the internet from professional installers. I chose to take the motor face plates off and carefully apply the decals on them! Which ever way you choose be sure you clean the surfaces thoroughly with denatured alcohol and “take your time” for best results. You may use regular rubbing alcohol if you wish.
It is very important to make sure the decals and surfaces are at room temperature. For best results apply decals at temperatures between 50F – 90F. 60F - 90F is ideal!
If after installation you have some air bubbles trapped under the decal use a pen to pop them.
How long will my decals last?
All decal materials are rated for a 5-7 year outdoor lifespan. Depending on how well the decals are cared for they will out live the motors themselves in some cases.

Will these decals fit my motor?
Due to the vast number of manufacturers we cannot guarantee the motor decals will fit all makes of 2-stroke bicycle engines. Purchasing decals for the engine is purely at your discretion. However we found that out of the 3 most common styles of engines all hole patterns and facing sizes were the same for both 49cc and 66-80cc engines. Below is a picture of the styles of motors we have successfully analyzed.
Do the engine decals fit the pull start and centrifugal clutch 2-stroke bicycle engines?
Unfortunately they do not, but you can still get the decals for the gas tank.
